Religia

Pochodzę z Podlasia, a mieszkam w Gdańsku już od studiów. Ukończyłam Wydział Ekonomiczny Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego. Po studiach pracowałam głównie w organizacjach pozarządowych, gdyż lubię łączyć pracę zawodową z pomaganiem innym. W międzyczasie, z powodu zainteresowania tematem wiary i duchowości, ukończyłam studia teologiczne w Gdyni. Od zawsze również kocham dzieci, dlatego 6 lat temu postanowiłam zmienić kierunek zawodowy i zostać nauczycielką religii. W tym celu ukończyłam także studia pedagogiczne w Gdańsku. W swojej pracy kieruję się empatią, indywidualnym podejściem do dziecka oraz pasją do ewangelizacji i kształtowania wśród uczniów wartości najwyższych. Lubię aktywnie spędzać czas, jeździć na rowerze, grać w siatkówkę i pływać. Poza tym chętnie czytam książki, a także spotykam się z rodziną i przyjaciółmi.

Edukacja wczesnoszkolna w języku angielskim

Przez osiem lat mieszkałam w Wielkiej Brytanii i tam też ukończyłam studia na kierunku Childhood Studies. Praca z dziećmi jest moją wielką pasją, którą odkrywam wciąż na nowo. Czerpię ogromną radość z nauczania, a sukcesy moich uczniów dodają mi skrzydeł i motywują do dalszych wyzwań. W mojej pracy stosuję indywidualne podejście do każdego z małych podopiecznych i dokładam starań, by pomóc im w pełni wykorzystać swój potencjał. Zarówno w życiu prywatnym jak i zawodowym, stale towarzyszy mi różnorodna muzyka. Z przyjemnością dzielę się nią z uczniami i zachęcam do kreatywnego rozwoju poprzez zajęcia manualne, szycie i projekty arts & crafts.

Moi podopieczni znają mnie jako Panią Lisek, nie tylko ze względu na kolor włosów, ale przede wszystkim na miłość do tego zwierzątka oraz pluszowego pomocnika, który często asystuje w lekcjach.

Język niemiecki

Filolożka, absolwentka Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. “Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things.” Flora Lewis Tym, co zawsze napędzało mnie do uczenia się języków obcych, była i jest ogromna ciekawość świata i ludzi. Język to nie tylko ćwiczenia z gramatyki, ale przede wszystkim inna kultura, historia, smaki, zapachy, muzyka, relacje – całe spektrum doświadczeń, które nas wzbogacają i pozwalają patrzeć na świat z różnych perspektyw. Tę pasję i miłość do języka niemieckiego przekazuję teraz moim uczennicom i uczniom licząc, że poniosą ją dalej.

Edukacja wczesnoszkolna

Absolwentka Instytutu Nauk Pedagogicznych Uniwersytetu Opolskiego z tytułem magistra edukacji elementarnej oraz studiów podyplomowych Wyższej Szkoły Kształcenia Zawodowego z zakresu edukacji i rehabilitacji osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną, autyzmem oraz zespołem Aspergera, certyfikowana nauczycielka Montessori, terapeutka ręki, terapeutka treningu umiejętności społecznych, Prywatnie zapalona podróżniczka, akwarystka i wielbicielka przyrody. Mam to ogromne szczęście, że łączę w jednym pracę zawodową i moją pasję-edukację dzieci. Uczę przez zabawę, bo uważam, że zabawa kojarzona jest przez dziecko z czymś przyjemnym i rozwija je we wszystkich sferach. Zadaniem moim jest obserwacja i pobudzenie w uczniu chęci poznania świata, a potem już tylko towarzyszenie mu w tej naukowej podróży. Jestem przekonana, że nauka poprzez zabawę, swobodne bycie sobą i spontaniczny, naturalny rozwój stanowi klucz do sukcesu i sprawia, że proces edukacji jest skuteczny. Zgodnie z myślą Konfucjusza prowokuję dzieci, aby samodzielnie odkrywały najciekawsze dla nich informacje: „Powiedz mi, a zapomnę, pokaż mi, a zapamiętam, pozwól mi zrobić, a zrozumiem”. Jednocześnie sama uczę się od dzieci, albowiem ich wrażliwość oraz wyobraźnia ułatwiają mi wybór atrakcyjnych metod i form pracy.  Pragnę uwrażliwić uczniów na piękno słowa pisanego i mówionego, poprzez doskonalenie mowy, kształtując ekspresję słowną, rozwijając przywiązanie do języka ojczystego, rozbudzając wrażliwość na maestrię i poprawność językową.

  • My name is Zuzanna Gudyka, and I am a student at the University of Gdansk. I have just started working toward my master's degree, majoring in applied linguistics, in both English and German. I have been working as an English Language Trainer at the language school Talkersi for two years. There I am also responsible for hosting regular events called Social English Night, which revolve around the English language and communication. The American School in Gdynia was the beginning of my journey with languages: very quickly I found that one of my greatest talents is language acquisition. The school helped me learn the essential base of the English language, as well as gain enormous interest in it. In fact, English classes with Ms. Basia begot something more than just interest - it was pure passion for the English language, most of all phonetics. Learning other subjects in English broadened my knowledge of specialized vocabulary, thanks to which I had no problem graudating from one of the...

Thanks to the international community, I made friends with students from all over the world and developed tolerance and interest in getting to know different cultures at a very young age. What I remember most clearly is the warm and friendly atmosphere, and the amazing teachers who approached every student individually and made sure no one fell behind. Graduating from the American School in Gdynia built my character, enabled me to get accepted into some of the best schools in the country, and opened the doors to the world for me.

I was then a seven-year-old girl in 1st grade trying to repeat and pronounce separate English words dictated by the instructor. I especially struggled with the article the! The American Elementary School granted me many fantastic educational experiences and has certainly shaped my academic and professional life. Its international, liberal, and creative character gave me wings to reach as high as Harvard University and then to pursue the individual path of a creative writer. This school undoubtedly inspires free thinking! Martyna Sarnowska

The American School in Gdynia was the beginning of my journey with the States and gave me the motivation and the incredibly important language base, to pursue my dream of studying abroad. Whenever I meet new people at school, they find it hard to believe I'm Polish because of my American accent - and I know that is all thanks to the unique emphasis on English, that focused on both grammar and spoken English, at the American School in Gdynia.
